Business Partnerships The Thomas & Betts Corporation adopted our school in 1992 and gives financial assistance. Thomas & Betts had its beginning in 1898 when Robert McKeon Thomas and Hobart D. Betts formed a sales agency in New York City selling conduit for electrical installations. Thomas & Betts has over 22 manufacturing facilities and three distribution centers located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Luxembourg, England, and Puerto Rico with over 8,000 employees. Today, Thomas & Betts Corporation is engaged in the design, manufacture, and marketing of electrical and electronic component systems for connecting, fastening, protecting, and conduits. Thomas & Betts products are used in numerous marketing segments from computers to trucks, power generating plants to lighting, and telecommunications to residential home construction. The United States Postal Service sponsors the Wee Deliver Postal Service at Clyde Riggs. Other local companies have provided incentives for our good student recognition program on Fridays.
