Time is stockpiled as per state law to allow for up to thirteen days of school being missed due to "dangerous or extreme weather conditions".   Any days missed beyond that thirteen MUST be added to the end of the school year.

March 21-March 28, 2008, specified as Spring Break, are guaranteed not to be used as instructional days.

State regulations require a total of ten (10) administrative days and staff development days.  At least five (5) of these days must be used for staff development, and one (1) for parent-teacher conferences (counted as an administrative day).  This calendar schedules four (4) administrative days in addition to parent-teacher conferences and three (3) of the five (5) staff development days.  The remaining two (2) staff development days are to be earned through activities chosen at each teacher's option outside the calendar.

Board Approved on December 19, 2006
